In the land of Akasha, Lady Governess was in one of her many secret chambers, and an urgent, private meeting was currently taking place  Temperatures rose upon knowing vital information that could change the course of their nation and possibly more.

Thinking the battle was won

and the course was set,

Fate throws a wrench in the plans

of the ones who do evil,

so, once again,

Lady Governess sees what must be done,

for in this game, there can only be one champion!





The time has come.  Destiny has set itself into motion, and we must move. There is, now, no turning back. Decisions must now be made or the course of Destiny will, without a doubt, choose for you.  Time and Destiny go hand in hand, although Time waits for no man; Destiny is similar, except she is more like mercy and often allows us more time to make the right decision the second time around, if we are blessed enough to have lived that long for her second coming,” the Governess said, quickly adding “Which do you prefer?” 


Looking around the table, her eyes met with each who was there.


“Mercy,” some answered.


“Right!  By choosing mercy, you choose a destiny, which means you have the power to choose your own course of life…that is if you choose wisely.”


“What if, during the course of life, you’ve chosen the wrong path, My Lady?” someone asked.


“Then this is when Destiny kicks in and shows you a little underserved compassion and provides you with another chance, which is, by all means, a display of mercy…and as for Time, Time becomes a bit more selfish, bearing its teeth and continuing forward with no remorse whatsoever.


“Do you mean to say that there is no middle ground, My Lady?” asked Mertekert, Lady Governess’s closest friend.


“Ah yes, there is…since Time and Destiny coincide, they created a pact quite naturally, and that is agreeing to work together as allies as opposed to enemies, thusly preserving themselves from their own demise.


This is why, in most cases, it takes Destiny so long to come back around the second time for many people because she doesn’t want us to miss out on something that could perhaps be rather spectacular.  Understand?” Lady Governess explained.


The voice of a man entered the conversation, concluding “So, My Lady, does this mean that if we mess up this time, Destiny will fling us into the monstrous hands of time?”


“Correct.  So, this time…we better not screw it up.”

  Assuming that nothing else could go wrong, Octavious headed to his bedroom chambers, ran water for a long, hot, shower, and prepared himself as best as he could for what was to come in Erica’s book.
