The final arrangements are being made by Lady Governesses to obtain supreme power over both worlds.
“Here lies the dawn of a new day!” She wailed before her followers in a wooded location, far from the center of attention. “Tonight, we get one more shot, at reconnecting with The Old Kingdom! “My dear sweet Deities, my friends, we need this moment like a child needs its mother's love. As you all know, once we proceed with the séance, there is absolutely no turning back.”
Taking a look around at each person individually, Lady Governess proceeded with the rules and regulations of the night’s proceedings. “There is no point in backing out now because whoever does will meet a grim death just beyond the firelight of this circle. My guards readily await anyone bold enough to impede our act.”
In the shrubs, Nyah and her followers hid, waiting.
“So, that’s your mother, huh? She’s very pretty but quite cruel.” Nyah’s closest friend answered.
“Yeah, I know, and I’d hate to see her get the power to rule both worlds,” Nyah added.
Nyah informed; “Before they pierce the sacrificial victims, there will be a rip in the atmosphere, for only a brief moment. That is when we will have the upper hand against my mother’s minions! That’s when we must strike! From here, we will begin tossing the transportable powder around them as quickly as possible, which is why we needed to bring so much of it.
“When they go into their state of trance, that’s when we’ll use these.” Handing out cigarette lighters, Nyah continued. “We have to set the powder aflame. The circle will be too big for just one person to light it. We need that ring of fire to whip around fast. I'm glad all of you came. I pray we make it out in time, if not, you know what to do.”
Looking around, Nyah spoke. “That rip will allow us to get back to Earth. It’s the only way, once the séance begins. If we planned it right, we will land right on the stage where the band will be playing. Erica will be well into to song/spell, summoning the Supreme Being to come forth through the door I know my mother has already used the key to open. Our Deities are in order, as we speak, generating enough natural energy to contain the Being.”
One of Nyah's followers asked. “And as for the final sacrifice?”
Nyah answered, “-and the rest is up to Erica, she has voiced to us her loyalty of reigniting the peace of The Old Kingdom”
*
Lady Governess and the Deities, paraded around in a deep trance as they prepared for what would constitute as part one of the sacrifice:
“One on the table
and one on the floor,
we offer to you our structured god;
The Supreme Being of the highest power known to man in the land of Akasha:
OUR BLOOD SACRIFICE!
“NOWWWWWW!” Nyah howled from the depths of her soul as she ran through the blazing blue ring of fire; whipping her sword around.
Her followers fed off her energy as they wildly headed into the ring of fire.
Yelling and screaming filled the air, alarming the guards to protect Lady Governess. Things were really heating up, literally, as the rip in the atmosphere began to blaze open, spewing out green neon flames, ripping wide enough for everyone to fit.
“THERE IT IS!” Nyah cried in desperation. “You must move, damn it, MAKE YOUR MOVE!” she shouted to one of her own followers who stood there, frozen.
Enraged, Nyah’s eyes glowed red as she hissed, “I’ll deal with you later.”
“We are losing so much time! Someone grab the male sacrifice!” Nyah commanded “I’ll grab the girl!
“Nyah!” Voiced a follower of hers, “We don’t have the strength to lift them alone!” She yelled out in dismay, looking as if all was lost.
-“And I won’t have the strength to live knowing that we didn’t try! Now, come on!”
Picking up the victims, they dragged them to the portal, which was rapidly closing.
With Lady Governess’s sacrifices missing, she had no way to summon the Supreme Being. The Being would remain hanging in the balance between Akasha and Earth until someone made the séance complete.
Nyah and followers along with Lady Governess and hers crashed on the stage. Octavious rushed to their aid. Everything on his end had gone well, as they casually blended in. The smoke machines and fireworks they lit did the trick!
The audience cheered and yelled in an excited uproar as Erica finished the song and bowed.
Grabbing Erica around the wrist, Nyah pulled her forward; they ran through the crowd behind the stage and into the field of grass to join the rest of the followers.
Erica saw Octavious tussling with someone in the shadows.
“Over there!” She shouted, pointing in his direction.
“Oh, no.” Nyah cried in dismay.
They rushed to help him.
“NO! Turn back! Turn back!” Octavious pleaded as he fought for his release from two of Lady Governess's followers.
“Plleease!” He begged. “Let me go.”
Alarmed, Erica turned around, but to her surprise, found nothing to run from, so she stood still. That’s when she heard something invisible swoop past her, followed by a cool breeze.
Erica gasped, her breath deepening and her heart rate increasing with every beat. She turned back around to try and get to Octavious, who was still raving frantically for her to escape from the clutches of demise.
Erica moved forward and heard the whoosh sound, again. This time though, the wind was stronger, and it turned her back around once more, from out of nowhere, Lady Governess appeared in front of her, with a devilish grin and whispered; “Farewell, my sweet” and plunged a sword deep into her stomach.
“NOOOOOO!” Octavious cried out, falling to the ground, his vision blurred by tears that streamed down like a violent storm.
Lady Governess quickly whisked away from Erica. Disappearing for a split second and then reappearing in front of Octavious. “It is my advice that you leave from here and start minding your own damned business at this point,” she said coldly, patting the top of his head before leaving her son broken and lost, she wiped the back of her sword across his cheek, smearing Erica’s blood on him. “Consider this as a parting gift.”
*
“Here lies the dawn of a new day!” Lady Governess bellowed to her followers as she plunged her sword into the stomach of the male sacrifice she had originally intended upon using. As the male dropped to his knees in agony, Lady Governess walked past to accompany her seven friends, the Deities, all together again revealing to their followers and to the world for the first time in hundreds of years what their earth element was.
As the night sky parted and ripped open, a monstrous cry roared down, from the mouth of a gargantuan creature as it revealing outer space, illustrious planets, and the Land of Akasha. It all ushering in slowly, breaking through the atmosphere of Earth as to become one with it.
Leading the way, Lady Governess smiled with pleasure as the winds blew across her blood-spattered, and sweat-drenched face; she smiled with pleasure; “Now, let’s go forth and claim what’s ours.”
THE END.
