Opening her eyes, feeling well-rested; Ertifferrah embraced the start of the new day as the warmth of Integrity’s rays gently beamed across her face. “Mmm, good morning, Integrity! Greetings! Thank you for being beside my bed. Thank you for being the first one to see me and to wake me this day.” 


It never failed, every day, Ertifferrah gave thanks to the sun for waking her up. On several days, she even felt without it, she wouldn’t have the strength to want to live. Seeing Integrity’s undying devotion shine down on her world, on her people, was more than a gift, it was a blessing. This encouraged her to move forward in life, no matter how lonely she became.


Crawling to the edge of the bed, thinking about the dream she had, replaying the part where the girl in the dream said goodbye to the government teacher. Since it was only a dream, why did she somehow feel connected to it and with the girl in the dream? The sorrowful feeling of losing a good friend filled her heart, as warm tears welled in her eyes and ran down her cheeks, she buried her face into the pillow and sobbed.

  Assuming that nothing else could go wrong, Octavious headed to his bedroom chambers, ran water for a long, hot, shower, and prepared himself as best as he could for what was to come in Erica’s book.
