 The final bell had rung and Erica didn’t even bother hunting Octavious down for the she-bear notebook because she knew he was long gone and far into it by now. The thought was eating at her nerves, knowing he’d read some of her most intimate thoughts, and the thought of the two of them making love for the first time in particular.  She just wondered what it would be like.


This was all beginning to turn into a bad dream now and she wanted out—or at least she wanted a break from this reality.


On the drive home, Erica decided to cruise around a bit to clear her mind.  Knowing Octavious had her notebook, really drove her into a bit of a depression, she needed some ‘down in the dumps’ food to lift her spirits.


Pulling forward in the drive-through of Piggies Party Barn (a fast food joint), she ordered three large fries, two triple cheeseburgers, one cinnamon pie, and a large orange soft-drink. 


Looking around the car for any loose change, she quickly scrounged up a dollar forty-seven.

“Hay, excuse me, can you throw in a medium Carmel Sunday too?”


“Sure, no problem.” The girl in the drive-thru said after taking the money.


“Thank you, and have a nice day,” said the worker, handing her a bag of food and some change.


At home, she went straight to her room, ate, and dismissed her homework.  Anxious to get back home to Akasha, she didn’t take long before drifting off to sleep.

  Assuming that nothing else could go wrong, Octavious headed to his bedroom chambers, ran water for a long, hot, shower, and prepared himself as best as he could for what was to come in Erica’s book.
